What is Owlto Points Program and why we need it?

Owlto’s core mission on our journey towards decentralization is to empower every Owlto users to actively engage in and shape the platform’s future governance. As the Owlto ecosystem has matured, we believe now is the optimal time to reciprocate new users and unveil an upgraded Owlto Points Program.
As a project that has just secured $8 million in strategic investment, Owlto is expected to create the first snapshot in Q3 of 2024. The upgraded Owlto Points Program is the primary mechanism through which Owlto transfers greater authority to the community. These points will serve as a testament to the value contributed by Owlto users, with a portion of the tokens to be distributed as an airdrop to qualified points holders.
The Overview of Update Owlto Points Program
The Owlto Points Program is a major incentive program launched for loyal and contributing participants, including but not limited to partners, promoters and users in the Owlto community. Whether you’re a faithful bridging users, a passionate promoter sharing the Owlto vision, or simply an engaged participator in our quests — your loyalty and efforts will be duly rewarded.
Starting from Jun 1st 2024, the Owlto Points Program has undergone a comprehensive upgrade. Not only has the base points for network bridging been increased, but the system has also been more tightly integrated with quests, expanding the channels for earning points.
This latest revamp has made the points system significantly more equitable and user-friendly. New participants now have ample opportunities quickly accumulate points. Simultaneously, we offer generous incentives for our active long-term users to continue their deep engagement with Owlto. It has only been a year since Owlto launched, the best time to play with Owlto is right now!

How can I acquire Owlto points?
I can see the gears turning in your head, wondering how you can rack up those sweet points. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered- there’re four ways for you to earn Owlto reward points:
- Bridging
No matter how much assets you transfer, users who complete bridging transactions on the Owlto will be eligible for corresponding reward points, based on a basic points reward standard. Not only that, your points earned will be multiplied based on the txs(number of bridging transactions) you completed on Owlto in total.
In summary, users will be rewarded Basic Bridging Points for their bridging on Owlto, with the points value increasing proportionally to their total transaction volume.
Basic bridging rewards
It should be noted that- the basic bridging rewards are also an important part of this upgrade. During the period of 2023.12.06–2024.05.31, regardless of the network or token, the basic points earned for each bridging transaction is 100.
Multipliers
The more Txs you complete, the higher the multiplier applied to your points earnings. For example, after 10 bridging transactions, the multiplier increases to 1.2x; after 50 transactions, it increases to 1.5x; and after 100 transactions, it reaches 2x. The multiplier details are as follows:

2. Participating in Quests
We encourage users to explore Owlto’s exciting quests, especially the quests presented on the frontend (official website). During the quests period, you’ll not only receive bridging points, but also have the chance to rack up extra quest points. The more quests you complete, the greater the rewards that await you.
Example of Quest Points Accrual:
The user performs a bridging transaction from zkSync Era to Ethereum.
- Quest Reward of 500 points for bridging from any network to Ethereum.
- The user has completed more than 100 bridgings on Owlto.
Bridging Points: 300
Reward Multiplier: 1.5
Quest Reward Points: 500
Therefore, the total Owlto points earned by the user would be “300*1.5 + 500 = 950”.

3. Making Referrals
After connecting your wallet to Owlto Finance, a specific referral link will be generated. A new user, whose address haven’t previously engaged in bridging transactions on Owlto Finance, would be bonded as your referee after he enters Owlto Finance through your referral link and completes his first bridging transaction. Once your referee accumulates points on Owlto Finance, you will receive 10% of the points generated by your referee during the current Phase 2 Referral Program. In Phase 1, this ratio was 30%.
Example:
A new user generates 1000 points for bridging transactions on Owlto Finance through the referrer’s link and bonded with the referrer.
Therefore, the Owlto Points the referrer will earn is:
“1000*10% = 100”

Please note that through the Referral Program, you can not only earn Owlto Points but also share real revenues generated by your referees with Owlto Finance. The rebate rate for referral commission ranges from 1–1.5x, depending on the number of transactions conducted by your referee.

4. Daily Check-in
If a user performs a bridging transaction on the same day, the check-in will earn 5 times the points, totaling 10 points.
