Welcome to the Metaverse Owlympics!

The Metaverse is an expansive Web3 universe with boundaries unknown to anyone. At its heart lies the ancient planet Ethereum, which suddenly cracked one day. This led to the formation of hundreds of new planets, which clashed in endless wars. However, an Owl persuaded the Empire’s supreme deity to host the Metaverse Owlympics every four years. War was strictly forbidden during the Owlympics, with any violators facing collective retaliation. Thanks to this Owl, guiding the universe toward greater prosperity and harmony.

An Overview

This Owlympics has a total of 8 participating planets in the stadium, Arbitrum, Optimism, Linea, Scroll, Base, Blast, Taiko, and BOB.

Campaign Period: 14:00 pm on August 28th (UTC) to 14:00 pm on September 11th (UTC)

During the competition, the eight networks will be ranked based on the amount of “To Chain” transactions. The network with the highest amount of “To Chain” transactions will be selected as the Champion network!

Additionally, each network will feature its leaderboard based on players’ Owlto points. Ultimately, the players from the champion network will receive significant cash rewards. Make an effort to become the top players on the Champion network!

1. Max $20,000 Cash Prize (for the Champion network):

• $10000 — $20,000 cash prize in the pool based on different transaction volumes (see the below mechanism)
• For the top ten players: 1st: 30%, 2nd: 15%, 3rd: 10%, 4th-10th: 5%
• Additional rewards: Ranked 77 and 177 will receive $200, 277 and 777 will receive $100, 1777 will receive $50, and 7777 will receive $10.

Cash Prize Pool Expansion Mechanism: The size of the cash prize pool ranges from $10000 — $20,000, depending on the amount of transactions:

• If the number of transactions reaches 140,000, the cash prize pool increases from $10,000 to $12,000;
• If the number of transactions reaches 180,000, the cash prize pool increases to $14,000;
• If the number of transactions reaches 200,000, the cash prize pool increases to $17,000;
• If the number of transactions reaches 250,000, the cash prize pool increases to $20,000.

2. Owlto Points Pool:

• Each bridge to the eight networks will generate an additional 10% of Owlto points for the points pool.
• All players on the top three networks will share the point prize pool.

3. $14000 Lucky Draw:

• Owlto will distribute a $1,000 bonus every day (last for 2 weeks).
• All players will obtain a lottery opportunity after each Tx with the maximum prize of $20.

4. Bridge Fee Refund:

• The top 10 players on these 8 networks will receive a 100% refund of the bridge fees incurred during the competition.
• Gas fees are not refundable, Owlto will charge 0.00002 ETH per transaction.

How to join the Owlympics and win the prizes?

1. Connect your wallet first.

2. Check the networks’ ranking, which is in real-time. You can see the total Txs and participants number of each network.

3. Choose the network you’d like to support.

4. Check your current ranking on the specific network. The ranking indicates how much you can get from the cash prize pool. However, be reminded that the ranking changes in real time! Click the “bridge more”, and access the bridge page.

5. Choose the token and ensure the “To” network is correct.

6. Task completed, you will receive a Lottery. Check if you’re lucky!

7. Back to the Owlympics page and check your ranking again. It will indicate how many Txs you need to get the special ranking for the additional rewards.

• Ranked 77 and 177 will receive $200, 277 and 777 will receive $100, 1777 will receive $50, and 7777 will receive $10.
• Please note, that the top 10 players on each leaderboard will get a bridge fee refund.
• Check your current prize and owlto points here. Each network will generate an additional 10% of Owlto points for the points pool. All players on the top three networks will share the point prize pool.
