How to resolve wallet conflicts?

With the increasing number of web3 plugin wallets, many users tend to use multiple wallets simultaneously. To enhance wallet opening rates, these wallets often compete for the highest permissions during runtime, resulting in compatibility and usability issues. Consequently, when you have multiple plugin wallets open in your browser and try to connect to Owlto Finance by clicking on “Connect,” there is a possibility of encountering a wallet conflict popup, which hinders normal usage. It’s important to note that this issue is not exclusive to Owlto Finance but a common challenge faced by all dapps due to the conflict between different wallets.

The most effective solution is to either uninstall other plugin wallets and retain only one or disable all other wallets except for the chosen one. Now, how can you disable them?

In the browser (using Chrome as an example), locate the icon in the top right corner.

After clicking on the icon, a pop-up window will appear. Inside the pop-up, you will find a list of all the plugins. Scroll down to the bottom and click on “Manage extensions.”

Once you access the plugin management list, you will find a switch in the bottom-right corner of each plugin card. When the switch is toggled to the “on” position, it indicates that the wallet is enabled, whereas switching it to the “off” position means the wallet is disabled. Based on your preferences, you can enable a single wallet while disabling the others.

After completing these steps, you can refresh the page and try connecting your wallet again on Owlto Finance.
