How to bridge funds across the Starknet via Owlto Finance
Owlto Finance now supports Starknet. As one of the few bridges in the market that support Starknet, Owlto Finance offers lower fees and faster transaction speeds. This tutorial will help users understand how to perform Starknet bridging on Owlto Finance more clearly.
First, visit Owlto Finance (https://owlto.finance).
If you want to bridge funds from another network supported by Owlto Finance to Starknet, select “Starknet” from the network list in the “To” section of the bridge window. This will trigger pop-ups for the Braavos and Argent X wallet plugins. Click on “Connect Wallet” to proceed.
If you want to bridge funds from Starknet to another network supported by Owlto Finance, you can select “Starknet” from the network list in the “From” section of the bridge window or from the network icon in the top right corner of the navigation bar. This will also trigger pop-ups for the Braavos and Argent X wallet plugins. Click on “Connect Wallet” to proceed.
Since Starknet wallet addresses are not part of the EVM address format, if you want to bridge funds between Starknet and EVM networks, you will need to connect an EVM wallet. After connecting an EVM wallet, the top right corner of the navigation bar will display both the Starknet and EVM wallet addresses, and the network icon will show both the Starknet and EVM networks.
It’s important to note that Owlto Finance currently only supports the Starknet mainnet and does not support the Starknet testnet. If a user’s Starknet wallet is set to the testnet, a pop-up reminder will appear upon wallet connection. Additionally, if the user proceeds with the bridge, another pop-up reminder will appear when clicking the “Send” button, until the user switches the network to the Starknet mainnet.
Once the Starknet and EVM wallet addresses are connected, you can proceed with a bridge between Starknet and the EVM network. Please note that interactions with Starknet may take longer than transactions on the EVM network, so please be patient and expect a minimum processing time of at least 1 minute.
